Hollywood

We're heading towards the famous Hollywood for the day, go LA where got dun go Hollywood de .. haha ... Taking a metro no.2 from Montana Ave, which was just a short walk from our apartment, it took us straight to Hollywood. And the best part is, because the ticketing machine on the bus broke down, the trip is free! haha .. so the four of us save a total of USD5. =) And finally after a long long long walk up some private housing area, we found this spot 1 of the nearest to capture the famous Hollywood sign. Free, no need to squeeze with crowd, and sign to be seen the biggest .. haha .. yes i know it still seem small on the photo .. but its the biggest that can be captured in photo liao. And there, we saw this very very pretty cat which should be a pet of one of the rich people around that area. Its fur pattern is so prominent and its quite friendly After the "sign-watching", its lunch time!! Recommended in some tour guide book, we found our way to a restaurant, some streets away from Hollywood. Though its bit of ulu and far, its so crowded. Hungry us had to wait for almost 30mins or more before we had a table. They're famous for their waffle and fried chicken(which I tink taste much nicer than KFC). After lunch, full and satisfied, we stroll back slowly to Hollywood, and passed by the Metro Station which we decided to walk in and take a look. Their Metro station is quite interesting, no gantry like ours where we have to tap Ezlink card. So all you hav to do is jus buy the ticket, keep in your pocket, go down the escalator and board the train. So I actually had some friends who just take the train without paying, and lucky them, never got check at all. This is the famous Kodak Theatre at Hollywood Hollywood sign on the ground. Took lotsa effort to take this photo as its on the ground near a traffic light. Must really catch the right timing with the least people walking pass to capture this photo. Transformer was coming up soon then, hmm .. this photo i realise the sky behind so blue that it looks bit fake .. haha Had our dinner at Johnny Rockets where me and Frances shared Philly Cheese Steak. Its really yummy and look at the plate used to put chilli sauce, they serve it with a smiley face .. haha .. we find it so nice that we didnt use the plate in the end .. lol .. Behind us is the street of Hollywood where red carpets will be layout on the road whenever there is movie gala premier. And while heading back home, we saw Spider Man!! haha .. quite flexible, jumping here n there, up the dustbin etc.. catching the attention of every1, especially kids .. U need to give him tips if u wanna take photo of him or together with him, so do take note yeah .. this photo was fastly snap by Frances using high ISO mode.
